Comfortable Galway 4BR | City Stay for Groups

We stayed as bedrooms upstairs were decent and clean but rest of house un- livable. Positive: This was a house of 2 halves. Upstairs was 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - bathrooms were expected good standard and clean. Bedding was clean. Towels provided and were clean. Some soap/gel etc extras provided. Hairdryer in every room. WiFi throughout. Quiet convenient location. Easy access to house. Enclosed back yard space. Good communication from vendor. Negative: Beds were of poor standard and uncomfortable- carpet on hall and stairs very old/stained and desperate need of replacement. Downstairs bedroom was damp and beds were very poor standard. Parts of skirting and above skirting downstairs was damaged with some significant holes near small kitchen area. Mirror on wall was hanging broken! Floors were extremely dirty and worn out downstairs and mats also dirty/worn. Small kitchen in 2 words needed ripped out completely- rusty hinges missing handles/ handle hanging off oven door/ oven too dirty for hygienic use, no plug in sink, insufficient utensils, ceiling falling in, some kitchen electrical items had historical grease/grim and un- usable hygienically. Study desk is table against wall in kitchen. Vendor needs to visit this property IN PERSON. We stayed as the bedrooms / bathrooms were ok but be warned the rest of house was WELL BELOW healthy living standard.

Decent big house, value for money but definitely improvements required and accurate details Positive: The house was big and had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It was only a 15, 20 minute walk into Eyre Square. The price was good for 2 nights between 5 people. Negative: There was no parking. We were advised to park at a place close by but when I asked down there, they said you shouldn't park here. I asking multiple times to the host but kept getting same answer. One of the days when we were out, we came home to notice someone had entered the house to put on a washing machine but we weren't advised. All our things were inside so this made people feel uneasy. It just shouldn't happen. I asked for explanation but haven't got one yet. The beds were not comfortable and the bed sheets and towels all smelled of humidity so these could all be replaced to make people's stay for enjoyable and comfortable. There was also a leek in the kitchen roof. The living room was locked so there wasn't a place where the 5 of us could sit down together to eat or drink.
